L’impiego delle arti dello spettacolo nell’insegnamento delle lingue straniere si sta rivelando in questi anni una delle maggiori innovazioni della Glottodidattica con orientamento umanistico-affettivo. Un approccio “performativo” in grado di coinvolgere attivamente gli studenti in un processo d’apprendimento nel quale entrano in gioco olisticamente tutti gli aspetti della comunicazione, sia quelli verbali che quelli non verbali. La conferenza offre a docenti e ricercatori ispirati da un comune orientamento pedagogico, l’opportunità di presentare e confrontare progetti ed esperienze realizzate sul campo. La conferenza rappresenta inoltre l’evento di lancio della prima associazione internazionale in questo settore: EUROPEARLL, European Association for Perfoming Arts Applied to Language Learning.

Il programma della conferenza prevede una sessione plenaria e sessioni parallele tematiche: Drama&Theatre, Music&Songs, Film making, Creative writing, Story telling, Learning games ed altri approcci performativi. La lingua ufficiale della conferenza è l’inglese ma un servizio di traduzione simultanea da e verso l’ italiano è disponibile su richiesta.

Gli atti della Conferenza saranno pubblicati in formato digitale (ebook) con codice ISBN e saranno distribuiti gratuitamente ai partecipanti. In seguito ne sarà curata la diffusione attraverso i circuiti editoriali del web.

La settima edizione della Conferenza riunisce insegnanti, ricercatori, professionisti e project manager provenienti da tutto il mondo per condividere scoperte, competenze ed esperienze riguardanti l’integrazione di tecnologie e soluzioni innovative nell’insegnamento e apprendimento delle lingue straniere.
E’ inoltre un’eccellente opportunità per condividere i risultati ottenuti nei progetti sull’apprendimento delle lingue finanziati dalla Commissione Europea e da altre fonti.
Ogni partecipante potrà scegliere tra 3 diverse tipologie di presentazioni:
• Presentazioni orali: ogni presentazione avrà la durata di 25 minuti
• Presentazioni Poster : gli autori saranno in grado di fare presentazioni vis a vis durante le poster sessions.
• Presentazioni virtuali: questa modalità di presentazione è rivolta a coloro che non sono in grado di partecipare alla conferenza di persona. Le presentazioni virtuali consisteranno di una presentazione power point (con audio) che sarà caricata sul sito della Conferenza. La presentazione sarà dunque accessibile a tutti i partecipanti sia durante che dopo la Conferenza.
Gli atti della Conferenza saranno pubblicati:

Continuano ad aumentare le unità didattiche presenti sul sito www.languagesbysongs.eu dimostrazione del successo del lavoro di cinque anni svolto da tre partenariati di apprendimento Grundtvig, “Languages and Integration through Singing”, “French and Spanish language competence through songs” e “Find A Delightful Opportunity to learn Portuguese through Internet and songs”
Al fine di incoraggiare l’innovazione nell’istruzione, fornire adeguate risposte didattiche e metodologiche come pure tecnologie innovative adatte ai gruppi target (docenti di lingue neolatine o russo come L2 e loro studenti di varie età), i suddetti partenariati si sono proposti la disseminazione di un nuovo metodo di insegnamento di una lingua straniera che abbina l’uso di canzoni con l’uso di karaoke e materiali audio-visivi inseriti sul web. Questo approccio permette un apprendimento on demand della lingua appropriato alle diverse età e tipologie dei discenti e permette l’uso di nuove tecnologie basate su Internet, YouTube e lavagna multimediale interattiva e verrà presentato nelle suddette Conferenze Internazionali di Roma e Firenze.
Il materiale didattico, relativo ai livelli A e B del CEFR, è rivolto a discenti dotati di competenze linguistiche almeno A1 e si basa sulle Linee Guida che illustrano il quadro metodologico, l’introduzione al metodo e suggerimenti su come introdurre l’approccio musicale nell’insegnamento di una lingua e su come scrivere degli esercizi da soli.
Il sito web, in 7 lingue (IT/FR/ES/PT/RO/RU più EN), contiene:
• informazioni generali sul progetto (obiettivi, attività e risultati attesi);
• linee guida sull’uso delle canzoni nell’insegnamento/apprendimento di una lingua, istruzioni sull’uso dei materiali didattici e su come produrli in proprio;
• 143 esempi di materiali didattici comprendenti video e karaoke di ciascuna canzone, attività e fogli di lavoro con suggerimenti pratici per i docenti di lingua, contenuti morfosintattici, esercizi di apprendimento della lingua finalizzati ad una autovalutazione da parte degli allievi, esercizi orali con uso del karaoke;
I prodotti sono stati sperimentati da 112 docenti di 15 paesi. In base alle statistiche ShinyStat del 1/9/2014 il sito è stato visitato 31.663 volte da persone di 122 paesi. Il progetto è stato premiato come Star Project dall’INDIRE Agenzia Italiana del Programma di apprendimento permanente. I docenti di una delle lingue target come L2, se interessati, possono inviarci le loro unità didattiche. Se esse risulteranno redatte secondo le linee guida, verranno pubblicate nel sito con l’indicazione dell’autore.

The employment of Performing Arts in foreign language teaching/learning is becoming one of the major innovations in Language Education. Stimulating people’s imagination, encouraging their personal creativity and involving their emotions and feelings have proved able to foster a multi-sensorial cognitive strategy which boosts language acquisition and helps students to gain a wider, deeper and more self-confident command of the language. The main objective of the Conference is putting together experts, teachers and educational institutions sharing a common educational orientation and willing to exchange experiences and best practices. The conference is also a very good opportunity for launching the first international association in this field: EUROPEARL, European Association for Performing Arts Applied to Language Learning.
The conference envisages a plenary session and parallel sessions chaired by experts on specific topics: Drama&Theatre, Music&Songs, Film making, Creative writing, Storytelling, Learning games and other performing approaches. English is the working language of the conference but a translation service from/to Italian will be provided.
An official publication with ISBN code will be produced with the papers presented at the conference. A digital version of the proceedings will be distributed to registered participants and made available on line.

The 7th edition of the Conference brings together teachers, researchers, practitioners and project managers from all over the world to share findings, expertise and experience about integrating innovative technologies and solutions into language teaching/learning. It is also an excellent opportunity for sharing results achieved in language learning projects funded by the European Commission and by other sources.
Each participant can choose among 3 presentation typologies:
• Oral: Each presentation will last for 25 minutes;
• Poster: Authors will be able to make face to face presentations during the poster sessions;
• Virtual: This presentation modality is addressed to those who are not able to attend the conference in person. Virtual presentations will consist of a power point presentation (with audio) that will be uploaded on the conference web site. The presentation will therefore be accessible for all participants during and after the conference.
The conference proceedings will be published:
• on a book entitled ICT for Language Learning Conference Proceedings 2014 published (with ISBN code) by the Italian publisher Libreriauniversitaria.it (http://www.libreriauniversitaria.it/);
• on a CD-ROM to be distributed to all conference participants;
• on-line, on the conference website, after the conference days.

The number of teaching units on the site www.languagesbysongs.eu continues to increase, thus demonstrating the success of the five-year work carried out by three Grundtvig Learning Partnerships, "Languages and Integration through Singing," "French and Spanish language Competence through songs" and "Find A Delightful Opportunity to learn Portuguese through Internet and songs"
In order to encourage innovation in the teaching/learning process, to give adequate methodological answers as well as innovative technologies suitable for the target groups involved (L2 teachers of Romance languages or Russian and their students), the above mentioned partnerships have decided to spread the knowledge of a new technique of teaching a foreign language which combines the use of songs and the use of karaoke and audiovisual materials put on line. This approach allows on demand language learning suitable for the learners’ different ages and types and allows the use of new technologies based on the Internet, YouTube and the multimedia interactive board.
The teaching material, corresponding to the CEFR Level A and B, is addressed to learners who have at least A1 language competence and is based on the guidelines dealing with the methodological outline and the introduction to the method and giving advice on how to introduce the music approach in the teaching of a language and on how to write one’s own exercises as well.
The website, in 7 languages (Italian, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian plus English) contains:
• General information on the project (objectives, activities, outcomes)
• Guidelines on the use of songs in the teaching/learning of a language, instructions on the use of the teaching materials and on how to make one’s own materials
• 143 examples of teaching materials including video and karaoke of each song, activities and worksheets with practical advice for language teachers, morph syntactic contents, language learning exercises which aim at enabling self-evaluation in students, oral exercises with the use of karaoke.
The products have been tested by 112 teachers in 15 countries. On the basis of the ShinyStat statistics (1/9/2014) the site has been visited 31.663 times by people from 122 countries. The project has been awarded as Star Project by the Italian Agency of the Lifelong Learning Programme. L2 teachers of a Romance language or of Russian can send us their teaching units, if they want to. If the materials are written according to the guidelines, they will be published and the name of the author will be mentioned.

L'emploi des arts de la scène dans l’enseignement / apprentissage d'une langue étrangère est devenu l'une des plus importantes innovations dans la didactique des langues. Stimuler l'imagination, encourager la créativité personnelle, impliquer émotions et sentiments favorise une stratégie cognitive multi-sensorielle qui stimule l'acquisition du langage et permet aux étudiants une maîtrise de la langue plus profonde et confiant. L'objectif principal de la conférence est de mettre ensemble les chercheurs, les enseignants et les établissements d'enseignement partageant une orientation pédagogique et désireux d'échanger des meilleures expériences et pratiques. La conférence est également l'événement pur lancer la première association internationale dans ce domaine: EUROPEARL, Association européenne des arts du spectacle appliquée à l'apprentissage des langues.
La conférence prévoit une séance plénière et des séances parallèles présidées par des experts sur des sujets spécifiques: Drame & Théâtre, musique et chansons, Le cinéma, écriture créative, contes, jeux d'apprentissage et d'autres approches à la scène. L'anglais est la langue de travail de la conférence, mais un service de traduction de / vers l'italien sera fourni.
Une publication officielle avec le code ISBN sera produite avec les documents présentés à la conférence. Une version numérique des actes de la conférence sera distribué aux participants inscrits et disponible en ligne.

Les unités d'enseignement qui augmentent sur le site www.languagesbysongs.eu démontrent la réussite d’un travail de cinq ans réalisé par trois partenariats d'apprentissage Grundtvig, “Languages and Integration through Singing”, “French and Spanish language competence through songs” et “Find A Delightful Opportunity to learn Portuguese through Internet and songs”.
Dans le but d'encourager l'innovation dans l'enseignement, de fournir d'adéquates réponses didactiques et méthodologiques, ainsi que des technologies innovantes adaptées aux groupes visés (enseignants de langues néolatines ou de russe L2 et leurs élèves de différents âges), ces partenariats ont visé à la diffusion d'une nouvelle méthode d'enseignement d'une langue étrangère à travers la chanson et le karaoké soutenus par les outils audio-visuels insérés dans le web. Cette approche permet un apprentissage sur demande de la langue adapté aux différents âges et caractéristiques des apprenants; elle consent également l'emploi de techniques prévoyant Internet, YouTube et tableau multimédia interactif. Cette approche sera présentée au cours des deux conférences internationales à Rome et à Florence dont on a fourni communication ci-dessus.
Les outils didactiques relatifs aux niveaux A et B du CEFR, sont destinés aux apprenants qui possèdent un niveau de compétence linguistique d'au moins A1; ils suivent les Lignes Guides indiquant le cadre méthodologique, l'introduction à la méthode et les suggestions pour introduire l'approche musicale dans l'enseignement d'une langue et pour écrire des exercices tout seuls.
Le site web, en 7 langues (IT/FR/ES/PT/RO/RU plus EN), contient:
• des informations générales sur le projet (objectifs, activités et résultats);
• un guide sur l'emploi des chansons dans l'enseignement d'une langue, des instructions sur l'emploi des outils didactiques et sur la production autonome;
• 143 exemples didactiques comprenant vidéo et karaoké de chaque chanson, des activités et des feuilles de travail, des notions de morphologie et de syntaxe, des exercices d'apprentissage de la langue finalisés à l'auto-évaluation des élèves, des exercices oraux avec emploi du karaoké;
Ces produits ont été expérimentés par 112 enseignants de 15 pays. Sur la base des statistiques ShinyStat du 01/09/2014 le site a été visité 31.663 fois par des habitants de 122 pays. Le projet a reçu le prix Star Project de l’Agence Italienne du Programme pour l’éducation et la formation tout a long de la vie.
Les enseignant une langue néolatine ou russe de niveau L2, s'ils sont intéressés, peuvent nous envoyer leurs unités didactiques. Si celles-ci résultent rédigées selon les indications des lignes guide, seront publiées dans le site avec le nom de leur auteur.
